Thom Duma Jewelers

The history of Thom Duma Fine Jewelers dates back to 1947. That is the year, Thomas Duma Sr. entered into the jewelry business, working along side of Mike Sachs of Sachs Jewelry, Market St. Warren. Ten years later the opportunity presented itself for Thom to own his own store. Together with his coworker, Izadore Diamondstien, they purchased Klivan's Fine Jewelers from Harry Klivan. From that humble beginning, Thom Duma initiated the philosophy that quality, value and personal service attracts customers and compromise in any of these areas is unacceptable. Klivan's began to lead the way in our community holding fast to those founding principles.

In 1985, Thom Sr. retired and sold the business to his son Thom Duma Jr. and his then son-in-law. Thom Sr. continues to be involved doing what he loves best, interacting with his customers, and enjoying the special relationships that have motivated him since his youth. The year 2002 was a year of revitalization and the landmark was totally renovated by renowned store designer, Mr. Ron Harris. In the Fall of 2003, the business reopened under the family name and the founding principles have remained the same. Our store address is the same, however the values haven't changed, the inventory is larger and the store has evolved into an EXPERIENCE. Come and see for yourself what has been a tradition in Downtown Warren since Harry Klivan settled here in 1932! The tradition continues....
