Until the end of March, Thom Duma Fine Jewelers will be under construction as they add a 500-square foot wing to their current space. This $500,000 expansion will hold a larger Rolex showcase as well as allow for the bridal department and the jewelry repair facility to triple in size.
Local newspapers, including the Vindicator and the Tribune Chronicle, recently covered the retailer’s renovation plans, providing more insight into the reasoning behind the renovation. Although at first there was some uncertainty as to whether or not the family-owned store would be able to stay in downtown Warren, ultimately a bit of generosity from the store’s neighbors allowed them to stay in their current location.
The sale, which ends on March 27th, gives shoppers an opportunity to find their favorite jewelry styles at up to 70% off -- an offer rarely seen with other retailers.
“The neat thing about the sale is ... our brands opened up their vaults and gave us the inventory of their overstocks and discontinued pieces and authorized us to offer discounts,” said Thom Duma Jr. in the Vindicator. “It’s a unique opportunity for us.”
In addition to the discounts on the store’s inventory, during the sale the Ohio-based jeweler will also hold community events with local partners at their showroom every Sunday.
Past events saw great success, with eateries like Nova Coffee and Saratoga Restaurant providing delicious bites to those shopping at the showroom. Visit Thom Duma Fine Jewelers on Sundays for food from the Sunrise Inn, the Mocha House, the Cake Boutique, and more!
