HUMBLE ORIGINS
Thom Duma Fine Jewelers isn’t just a business, it’s a legacy that was birthed through the vision of Thom Duma Sr., a war veteran, and watchmaker who established one of Ohio’s most prominent jewelers. One life-altering day while out in Mississippi with his wife Helen Duma; Thom Duma spotted a watchmaker working in a window from afar. Thom’s spirit was then called to explore the world of watchmaking thus leading him to purpose and passion.
NEW HORIZONS
Thom Duma Fine Jewelers harbors a history spanning over 115 years. Originally founded as Klivans Jewelers; the establishment ascended to new heights when Thom Duma Sr., along with friend and co-founder Isadore Diamondstead, acquired ownership in 1957. Duma and Diamondsted formed a partnership while working together in a jewelry shop in downtown Warren, Ohio. Recognizing the value of a long-established reputation, Duma and Diamondstein kept Klivan's name and initiated a metamorphosis of the business.
HONORING HERITAGE
At the rise of success, Thom Duma Fine Jewelers elevated its offerings once becoming an Official Rolex Jeweler in the year 2003. Today, under the ownership of Tom Duma Jr.; the family business is flourishing in its mission of offering customers a luxurious in-store experience. TDFJ’S continuous pursuit of excellence has opened new doors; including a new partnership with Progressive American Flat Track, the world's premier dirt track motorcycle racing series, and one of the longest-running championships in the history of motorsports. As an Official Rolex Jeweler, TDFJ has excelled in its mission of bringing signature timepieces to watch enthusiasts and first-time customers alike.
